i am a runner on a crosscountry team in highschool and recently i got a pain in my ankle ,now the pain has gone into my bone,or shin and my coach said i must have shin splints what can i do to treat this?

You may have flat feet. You should see a podiatrist and discuss orthotics to help support your arches.
