Sesamoiditis/Sesamoid Fractures

I am 18 years old and have already had my battle with sesmoiditis and still am. I had complained of pain in my foot for years but because I was an extremely competitive volleyball player i never went to the doctor. Finally when i was about 13, I went to the dr.

I too am 18 and a gymnast. I fractured my sesamoid in gymnastics and was told it was sesamoiditis and to continue with gymnastics. A year later I had it removed and with two months of PT and 9 months of no gymnastics, I am still in awful pain and don't know what to do.
