Sesamoidectomy and still in pain

I am 18 and a gymnast and about a year ago I had surgery to remove my sesamoid that I had fractured 9 months earlier. I tried a stiff soled shoe, orthotics PT, cortizone injections, and a cast with no prevail. I said heck with it and decided to finish my senior season in gymnastics (not well) and then had the surgery. A year later with 2 months of PT and 9 months without gymnastics I am still in considerable pain, can’t wear high heals, do gymnastics, or run. What on earth could still be ...Read the full article
