Sesamoiditis/Sesamoid Fractures

I am 18 and a gymnast and about a year ago I had surgery to remove my sesamoid that I had fractured 9 months earlier. I tried a stiff soled shoe, orthotics PT, cortizone injections, and a cast with no prevail. I said heck with it and decided to finish my senior season in gymnastics (not well) and then had the surgery.
