Sesamoidectomy

Over the past 6 or 7 months I had a very painful callous on the ball of my left foot. Nothing I tried would get rid of it and as time went on it got more and more painful to walk on. I went for medical advice and after the x-ray was told I would have to have a sesamoidectomy. Apparent the fibular bone had deteriorated and no “cushion” was on the bottom of my foot between the bone and the skin.
