About 6 months ago I had a callous on the ball of my foot just below the big toe. I was unable to get rid of it with over the counter remedies so went to the doctor. He said I would need a sesamoidectomy. I had the operation 6 weeks ago. After 3 weeks of complete rest wearing a boot only if I had to walk to another room etc. I had the stitches removed. Hey there - I have been in discomfort and often I have also been in pain due to sesmoiditis. I have limited my physical activity due to the inevitable swelling that occurs if I run or walk a lot.
So I am considering getting the surgery like you did.
How has the recovery been for you since your last post?
