steriod injections

well i just had the injections because i suffer from a bi-partite sessamoid [sesamoid]. its been 2 days and the pain is soo bad that i cant even walk properly. the actuall procedure wasnt too bad, it was numb so didnt feel much. has anyone else had the injections?? if so how long did it take to settle down?

I also had an injection (thinking it was the least invasive) It took about 3 days for me to be able to walk on it without pain. It wasn't what I expected. That is what lead me to believe it was much worse. And it turned out to be fractured.
