Any help is appreciated

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu Jun 20, 2002 1:06 am

Whenever I have any activity on my feet, the balls of both of them get really red and they hurt. The pain varies in intensity.
I went to my podiatrist and he told me that the big toes on both feet aren't taking any of the pressure that is on my feet. Whenever pressure is put on my feet, the big toe like "slides" up, and doesn't take any pressure at all.
I forgot what he said the condition was called, and any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

He probably called it metatarsal elevatus or supinatus. In either case, you would benefit form an orthotic to help distribute weight better. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
