Planing of sesamoid bone
I'm scheduled to have one of the sesamoid bones of my left foot planed in two weeks. As I've been doing research I have come across a risk of have the bone fracture in the future. Has anyone had this particular surgery and how successful was it? Any problem with future fracture? I've been told that I will be on limited weightbearing for 4 to 6 weeks. Just how limited is this limited weightbearing?
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Janq
