Sesamoidectomy Surgery

Can someone explain to me the procedures involved with thi surgery...Will I be put to sleep??? Will I have stitches????? crutches???gel cast????? Approx how long does the surgery last???And please inform me of any other important things I would need to know invloving this surgery

You really should discuss these questions with the surgeon performing the operation. However, to give you an idea, these are your answers but please realize they can vary from surgeon to surgeon. You will be sedated so you do not feel the surgery. You will have stitches but not a lot. Crutches may or may not be used for 1-2 weeks. No cast will be needed. Surgeyr takes about 30-40 minutes.
