BCC on nose (big)

My Plastic Surgeon has told me the bcc on my nose is a big one. I have a sore in side of my nostril now, could this be linked. Also, is there a chance that it has started in bone, ( bridge of nose). This bcc covers all the top of my nose and I am having a skin graft on it. I never really asked any questions.
