curious about mole

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Dec 30, 2001 2:53 pm

I have an eight year old who has what looks like a mole on the botton of his toe. Except it is raised above the skin with what looks kinda like a boil. It appears to have a white circle around it and the surface of it is not smooth. If you try to put pressure on it, it hurts tremendously. I thought it was a wart due to the patchy look of it but it has not gone away with wart treatment. Please help with any insight if possible.

My only suggestion is to SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE PEDIATRICIAN FOR A
FORMAL EXAMINATION. This should be done as soon as possible so that
appropriate therapy can be delivered. Thank you for using oncologychannel
and good luck.
