metastatic squamous cell

my husband has metastatic squamous cell cancer with 2 lymph nodes testing positive. It is in the chest. He also has CLL taking leukeran 3 times a week. What is the prognosis with radiation treatment? He has had surgery with a large section of chest tissue and even some muscle removed. The original sqaumous cell occured in September, 2002 so it is very aggressive.
