I have personally used Aldara cream with success on basal cell carcinomas. I don't always use it, as sometimes surgical treatment is indicated or easier to deal with. But if there is a basal cell on the face, in which the scar will be very obvious, I may try the Aldara. Keep in mind, while it is available by prescription, it is currently not FDA approved for this use. Also, the scientific data is limited at this point in time. Aldara is applied to the skin cancer daily for about 3-4 months. Irritation is known to occur. I have not heard of these herbs for basal cell carcinoma. MGN-3 is a mushroom extract and can help boost the body's natural killer cells to fight cancer.
