So Young!Hello everyone! I can really relate to what you are going through with this painful, never ending, day in day out syndrome. I am 29 years old, a single (recently engaged) mother of three. Re: So Young!Hi , I read your article and of course can totally relate to you.I hope you can find a way to get some financial support .I myself am a single parent so I have a fear of being cut off long term disability and then what would I do ? I have searched the paper for sit down jobs but I am not qualified for any of them and if my surgeon dosent cooperate they could cut me off without retraining me. So on top of having this problem I also worry. As far as your 12 year old not wanting to be seen with you I wouldnt take it personally .I have a 13 year old who wouldnt even push me in my wheelchair because she was embarressed her friends would see her. Its a puberty thing . It does change the whole family dynamics though because they also lose out and become secondary victums to this syndrome . Perhaps for you big brothers and sisters may be able to be involved so they have someone to go do things with , or a family member. Anyways I feel for you of course because we share a unique and debilitating problem. We need our feet for everything. Anyways take care for now . Teresa
