I don’t really know if that is what I have or not. But I do know that the pain in my foot is terrible and I have been living with this for a year now. It is worse in the morning but rarely gets better during the day.
I have sharp stabbing pains in my heel and ankle. I had a test that showed I had loss of feeling in the heel and toes. Now I am going to have surgery on the 31st of Aug. 07. Hope this helps.

Judy, please get back and let me know if your pain has lessened. I recently had surgery for plantar fasciitis and now am in pain all day long. My doctor feels it might be tarsal tunnel. The pain circles my heel like the heel of a sock, and sometimes it stretches across the top and inner side of my foot. My little toe and side of my foot hurt, too. So . . . I'm dying to know what procedure you had done and if it helped.

Please let me know if the surgery helped or not. I seem to have your same symtoms. I had heard that it is very painful.
