Re: tarsal tunnelDear Matt
I am sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and are having to take medication. It is interesting that the nerve conduction test came back good. My neurologist recently referred me to have a n.c.t. and the results showed I have tarsal tunnel in the left foot. I have a constant pins and needles in my foot but no where near the pain that you are experiencing. As well as a n.c.t. I was also sent for an MRI for brain and spine to eliminate other factors. I hope things improve for you.
Re: tarsal tunnelHi Matt , i have just joined this page so my story will be coming up so keep posted .Your troubles are only beginning unfortunately. I have suffered with this for a year now so know exactly what you are going through Unfortunaetly , the problem lies in the emg if they can detect it . they have to use the needles in order to get a proper reading and you must walk as much as you can before the test. I know this because my first emg showed nothing and it was only sticky things they stuck on me to get a reading, but this is not good enough they must insert the needles. the second dr. said its the first time in 25 years he was able to diagnose this syndrome so that shows you how hard it is. I walked in pain as much as I could for 2 full weeks to have this test show something . Anyways hopefully my story will show up and you can read it to see if you can relate. cheers teresa
