Post a new topicby Guest on Wed Dec 19, 2001 4:12 am

I had surgery on 10/15/01.But it seem that it has not done any good. Still having pain and numbness in ankle and foot.Should i still be having this or is the surgery a failure?

If the nerve was badly compressed for a llong time, numbness may continue forever. The pain should gradually decrease but it is possible there is still compression in the area or even that scar tissue is causing a secondary compression. You should speak to your doctor about your concerns.
