Still having pain after surgery on Feb.9 please help

Post a new topicby Amanda1987 on Sat Jun 20, 2009 2:40 pm

Hi everyone!
I had surgery on the top of my foot from Morton's Neuroma on Febuary 9th. It is now almost 5 months and I am just wondering why somedays my foot still hurts? I went back to my doctor and he said i overused it, and to continue wearing sneakers. He also gave me anti-inflammatory. Are these shoes helping my feet or are they too narrow on the toe box? also is it okay that I still have my matarsol pads in it that I bought before surgery or should I remove them? Please let me know, thank you for reading. Also forgot to say the other day my foot was swollen very badly and I proped it and iced it but didn't really help, is this normal? and when is it going to stop, and go back to normal? I'm just sick of this, and want my life back ever since I hurt my foot Ive become insecure because I can't do anything without it hurting, I want to go back to work this week, I worked for about a month last month and it would hurt some days. I'm losing so much money just because of my foot too, so I really do need to get back to work. Anyone out there who can tell me what I can do, it would be really appreciated. Thank you so much.
Heres a picture of the shoes I have - are these okay? When I was in foot therapy they said they were, but not sure.
